From brand foundations to product scale

From brand foundations to product scale

My time at Unito defined my growth as a designer — evolving from brand and marketing design into full product ownership and system-level thinking.

Joining at an early stage, I helped shape Unito’s identity, from website to building animated product videos, from from the ground up, then transitioned into product design as the company scaled through its Series A and B rounds.

Unito’s platform enables two-way data syncs between tools like Jira, Asana, Salesforce, and Google Sheets, bridging workflows across industries. Designing for such versatility meant tackling complex UX challenges: how to make integrations, automation, and data visibility feel intuitive and transparent to users operating in different tool ecosystems.

This intersection of brand and product design became the foundation for my own evolution — building not just a product or visual system, but a shared design philosophy that connected Unito’s story to its software experience.

Taking the holistic design approach

Taking the holistic design approach

At Unito, I unified the company’s brand and product design into one cohesive, scalable framework that reflected its mission to simplify collaboration:

Brand Identity & Growth Design:
Created Unito’s brand identity from scratch — from logo and color system to marketing visuals, website design, and launch campaigns — giving the company a confident, recognizable presence that supported successful fundraising and early growth.

Transition into Product Design:
Moved into product design to ensure that the clarity, accessibility, and voice established in the brand extended seamlessly into the product. This included leading UX and visual design for new features and optimizing existing workflows for scale.

Google Sheets Integration:
Led the end-to-end design for Unito’s Google integration, enabling two-way synchronization between spreadsheet data and other connected tools. This required designing for complex information mapping, real-time updates, and error states, balancing flexibility with simplicity.

Design System Development:
Helped establish Unito’s shared design system to unify marketing, product, and platform UI — enabling visual consistency, reusability, and faster product iteration.

The Unito Design Evolution was a defining chapter in my career — a hands-on education in how brand, product, and strategy converge in a growing SaaS startup.

It shaped not only the visual and structural foundations of Unito’s product, but also my own development as a designer capable of bridging storytelling, systems, and scale.
