A bespoke brand
A bespoke brand
Wild City Spirits is a transatlantic gin brand rooted in sustainability and urban agriculture — formulated in London, England, and distilled in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
As a partner and art director, I led the complete brand and bottle design, developing a visual and conceptual system that celebrates the harvest of the city farmer. From New Orleans to Los Angeles, Detroit to New York, Wild City partners with urban agriculture projects to source botanicals, transforming the city’s bounty into a refined spirit.
The visual identity draws from the romantic grit of urban growth — inspired by an early 19th-century Carnegie Hall playbill for “Leda and the Swan.”
I designed the full artwork composition and collaborated with renowned woodcut artist Steven Noble (known for Kraken Rum) to translate the design into hand-carved illustration. The result merges fine art, heritage, and sustainability into a distinctive brand language that reflects Wild City’s ethos: to bring the culture and harvest of the city to the martini glass.

Scrapped explorations
Scrapped explorations
An earlier design direction explored a more expressive, collage-based aesthetic rooted in fine art, echoing the brand’s experimental beginnings. Together, these iterations capture Wild City’s evolution — from concept to craft — as the first distillery to source its botanicals directly from urban farms across America.
